Sarah Attar made history as Saudi Arabia's first female Olympic runner.
SARAH ATTAR is a runner and artist currently living and training full time in Mammoth Lakes, CA under the guidance of Coach Andrew Kastor. She competed in the London 2012 Olympics as Saudi Arabia's first female Olympic runner. Since then she has joined the Oiselle Team, and has completed ten marathons, including 3 x Boston 2 Big Sur Challenge, and most recently the 2016 Olympic Marathon in Rio de Janeiro, representing Saudi Arabia in the Olympics for a second time. Having studied art, art history, and graphic design while also being involved in athletics, campus recreation, and event planning at Pepperdine University, she graduated with honors in 2014. She has since exhibited art internationally and continues to execute various freelance design projects.
